Hello, My name is Caleb and I am one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. I’m very sorry for the death that you’ve experienced in your family recently. I’ve just been sharing a comforting scripture with you and similar individuals who have lost dear loved ones in death. John 11:25 says... "He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." We agree with the bible when it says at Acts 24:15... that there will be a resurrection, of both the righteous and unrighteous. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.. please know that we are thinking of you and your family during this hardship. Thank you for your time, Sincerely, Caleb Aniol

I am fervently praying to Jehovah to give you the needed strength to face whatever comes. Someone told me once that Jehovah is like a parent. If you had 12 children and one child was hurt, you would turn your focus and attention to that one child. Not that you love that one child more than the others but that one child needs your help. Jehovah is that way with us. He sees and knows who needs him the most. Don't forget that he sees exactly what you are going through and he truly will help you face whatever it is and when you cry along the way, he gathers up your tears and keeps a count of them ! He promises: "For I, Jehovah your God, am grasping your right hand, the One saying to you, 'Do not be afraid. I myself will help you.' (Isaiah 41:13)

Was so sorry to learn of Betty's death. Even sorrier to be unable to attend services. Didn't learn of the obituary until returning home just after the funeral. She was a great lady that I recall from earlier years living in Amesville. I think she was friend of my mother's - Elsie Dean - when she operated the restaurant.

A Sure Hope for the Dead: (John 5:21, 28, 29) Yes, Jesus Christ promised that millions now dead will live again on this earth and have the prospect of remaining on it forever under peaceful, paradisaic conditions. If your heart similarly yearns to see a loved one again, Jehovah’s Witnesses will gladly assist you to learn how you can make this sure hope your very own. Why not contact them at a Kingdom Hall near you?
