Barbara Parsons Skinner, 82, of Albany passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023.  Born May 10, 1940 in Stewart, she was the daughter of the late Vern and Verona Starkey Parsons.  She was a 1958 graduate of Rockbridge High School.

Barb was a long-time member of the Chesterhill Volunteer Fire Department and Emergency Squad.  She was also very active with the Chesterhill and Alexander Lions Clubs.

She is survived by daughters, Amy Skinner (Clair Tosino) of Buckeye Lake and Molly (Rudiger) Baumgartel of Albany; three grandchildren, Matthew (Amy) Skinner of Pataskala, Max (Hannah) Baumgartel of Logan, Olivia Baumgartel of Albany; and two great-grandchildren, Ada and Sam Skinner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Skinner.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, March 18th at Jagers and Sons Funeral Home, Athens.  Visitation will begin at 12 pm with services to follow at 1 pm.  A private interment will take place at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alexander Lions Club, c/o Treasurer, 4232 Chesser Rd., Albany, OH  45710.  Please share a memory, a note of condolence or sign the online register at www.jagersfuneralhome.com.
