William Joseph "Bill" Dotson, died Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Doctor's Hospital, Columbus.  Born Aug. 18, 1963 in Covington, KY, he was the son of the late Paul and Patricia Dotson.

He was a truck driver and enjoyed his family, the outdoors, camping, fishing, and dirt track racing.

Bill is survived by his former wife, Debra Dotson; two daughters, Elizabeth (Gary) Barker and Jennifer Morgan both of Springfield; three sons, William J. Dotson, Jr. and his fiancé, Hannah Barnett of Pomeroy, U.S. Army Specialist Danny A. Dotson of Millfield, and Christopher Battson of Springfield; six grandchildren; four brothers, Bob Dotson of Fla., Jamie Dotson of Shade, Sam Dotson of Athens and Paul (Cheryl) Dotson of Athens; and several nieces and nephews.
