Charles B. "Bud" Lowry, age 86, of New Marshfield, died Saturday morning, Aug. 6, 2022 at OhioHealth O'Bleness Hospital, Athens.  Born June 8, 1936 in New Marshfield, he was the son of the late Earl F. Lowry and Berneda N. Farmer Lowry.

A graduate of Waterloo High School, he was employed as a mechanic with the City of Athens.  He served many years as a Waterloo Township Trustee.  He enjoyed greyhounds, coon hounds, and coon dog hunting.

Bud is survived by a son, Steve Lowry of Athens and his significant other, Tammy Woodyard; three grandchildren, Charlie, Mickey (Heather Gould) and Kayla (Jonathan); five great grandchildren, Camron, Kyle, Olivia, Brandon and Kayden; two sisters, Glenna (Walter) Baldridge of New Marshfield and Una Mae Moore of New Marshfield.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a son, Greg Lowry; a daughter in law, Sharon Lowry; a grandson, Brandon "Goat" Lowry; and a brother, Sheldon Lowry.  Friends may call Thursday 7-9 p.m. at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens.  Cremation will follow.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home for expenses.  Please share a memory, a note of condolence or sign the online register at www.jagersfuneralhome.com.
