Chad William McMillion, age 48, of Athens, died Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at his home.  Born February 23, 1976 in Fairmont, WV, he was the son of Danal Lynn McMillion of Shinnston, WV and Debbie Bartlett McMillion Cunningham of Rivesville, WV.

A graduate of Bridgeport (WV) High School he attended Fairmont State University.  He was self employed in contracting and construction.  He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.  He also was an animal lover and bred Boston Terriers.

Chad is survived by his mother and stepfather, Debbie & Tom Cunningham of Rivesville, WV; his father Danal L. McMillion of Shinnston, WV; a daughter, Taylor Renee McMillion and her companion Keith Perkins, and her children Oaklynn Raine Harless and Hadley Grace Perkins; two sons, Jared McMillion Nuzum and Aaron Eli McMillion and his daughter, Violet Guseman; two brothers, Jason Danal McMillion and Christopher Allen McMillion both of Shinnston, WV; an aunt, Sandra Jo (David) Nuzum; an uncle, Gregory Allen (Lisa) Bartlett; an aunt, Sandra Bartlett; several nieces and nephews; several special friends including Matt Tenant and Lillian Dodd.
