Charles Eugene Callahan, age 53 of The Plains, died Friday, Nov. 18, 2022 at his home.  Born March 25, 1969 in Parkersburg, WV, he was the son of Sharon Tribbett Stark of Hockingport and Ronald Nelson of Lewisburg, PA.

He attended Parkersburg South High School and was a self-employed carpenter and involved in the construction industry.  He had a easy-going and laid back personality and was loved by many.

Charles is survived by his mother, Sharon Stark of Hockingport and father and step mother, Ronald & Marian Nelson of Lewisburg, PA; three sisters, Candace (Steve) Clay of Athens, Angi (Chad) Copley of Hebron and Brandy Stark of Pomeroy; a brother, Ronald (Regina) Callahan of Coolville; also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lena May Kerstetter, Harry Nelson and Samuel & Evalena Pickens; and a nephew, Jimmy Bond, Jr.
