Charles Franklin Carter, age 75, formerly of Athens, died Friday April 9, 2021 at the Aultman Alliance Community Hospital in Alliance.  Born October 18, 1945 in Union Furnace, he was the son of the late Denver C. Carter and Leona Mae Anderson Carter.

He is survived by two brothers, John Carter of Logan and Jack Carter of Logan; also surviving are several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Doris Miller, and a brother, Robert Carter.  Graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at New Marshfield Cemetery with Bruce Stoker, Minister officiating.  Arrangements are with Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens.  Please share a memory, a note of condolence or sign the online register at www.jagersfuneralhome.com.
