David Lee Kasler, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother went to be with the Lord early Friday morning December 10, 2021 in his home at the age of 78 years after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease and Lewy Body Dementia.

David was born January 9, 1943 in Athens Ohio to Delbert and Florence Lee Sanders Kasler. David graduated from Ames-Bern High School and had a fulfilling career in Insurance sales. He retired from Kimes Nursing Center in 2017. He was a member of the Christ Community Wesleyan Church in Albany.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Kasler, of 25 years; 1 son D. Todd (Juliet) Kasler of Charlotte, North Carolina; 3 step-children: Matt (Jill) Harris of Albany, Ohio, Josh (Teresa) Harris of Wilmington, Ohio, and Leah (Kevin) Kubachka of Cincinnati, Ohio; 8 grandchildren: Keith Kasler, Jacqueline Kasler, Chace Harris, Drew Harris, Regan Harris, Madison Harris, Keagan Kubachka, and Parker Kubachka; 1 sister and brother in law Debbie and Paul Sebring of St. Augustine, Florida, 1 brother Danny (Nancy) Kasler of The Plains, Ohio, and 1 sister in law Bonita Mathews of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 3:00 pm at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens with burial in Hooper Ridge Cemetery, Ames Township.  Friends may call Tuesday 2:00 pm until time of service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in David's name may be made to OhioHealth Home Care and Hospice, 444 W.
