Deanna M. Channell, 80, of The Plains, passed away May 16, 2023.  Born May 14, 1943 in Greene County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Betty Denman Hartzell Crow and Parker Crow and William Hartzell.

She retired from Ohio University food service.  She operated Stained Glass by Dee at her home for many years and enjoyed traveling to stained glass and art shows.  She was a member of The Plains Church of the Nazarene.

Deanna is survived by a son, Chad Hutchins of The Plains; a daughter, Amber (Dana) Kern of Chauncey; three grandchildren, Andrew (Abby Lintz) Hutchins, David (Maddy Haney) Kern, and Breanna Kern; two great grandchildren, Lilly Hutchins and Ransom Kern; a sister, Connie (Ken) Becker of Dublin; a niece, Michelle (Steve) Seneco; and a nephew, Chris (Quyen) Becker.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Dana L. Channell, who passed away Jan. 3, 2021; and a brother, Thomas Hartzell.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at The Plains (Hocking) Cemetery with Rev.
