Delores Maria Jung, 76, of Athens died Monday, February 24, 2025 at The Laurels of Athens after an extended illness.  Born April 7, 1948 in Cleveland, she was the daughter of the late John Alastanas and Ethel J. Parkis Alastanas.

A 1966 graduate of Athens High School, she attended Ohio University.  She was a homemaker in the family home.  She studied and was trained in Dance in Portland, Oregon.  She also taught Dance at the Dance Factory in Athens and the City of Portland Parks and Recreation.  She participated in several recitals and parades.

Delores is survived by several cousins.  A private family service will be conducted at Alexander Cemetery at the Alastanas family plot, Hebbardsville.  Arrangements are with Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens.  Please share a memory, a note of condolence or sign the online register at www.jagersfuneralhome.com.
