Dianna Louise Brooks Beeler, age 76, of Athens, passed away at home after a short illness on Saturday morning, June 10, 2023.  Born Nov. 17, 1946 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Sherman E. & Genevieve Well Brooks.

A 1964 graduate of Athens High School, Dianna worked and was a staple at Miller's Poultry for 35 years.  At Miller's, she became a dear friend to many in the community.  She enjoyed working in her flower beds and reading.  Most of all, she enjoyed playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  They were the joy in her life.

Dianna is survived by her husband, William Beeler; her children, Michael (Rosalie) Loos of Tampa, FL. Elizabeth Tate of Albany, Shelly (Chris) Swanson of Athens, and Joanne Loos Cordray of Kingston, NY; her six grandchildren, Megan, Jessica, Nicholas, Linnea, Melanie, and Rebecca; her three great grandchildren, Evelynn, Eleanor and Theodore; and her sister, Laura Beth Well (Paul) Rounds of Webster Springs, WV.

A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, June 20th at 1:00 p.m. at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens with Rev. Paul Rounds officiating.  Friends may call Monday, June 19th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Cremation will follow the services.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Michael J.
