Eva Mae Llewellyn, 89, of The Plains died Wednesday morning, April 15, 2026 at Kimes Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Athens.  Born May 4, 1936 in Coolville, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Coen and Bessie Lonas Coen.

A graduate of Rome-Canaan High School, she was a homemaker in the family home.  She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and her flowers.  She was a former member of the Golden Wings CB Club.

Eva is survived by her four children, Tammy (Jerry) Hunter of Nelsonville, LeAnne (Scott) Swart of Logan, Robert (Robin) Llewellyn, Jr. of McArthur and Tonya Llewellyn of Nelsonville; seven grandchildren, Alex Llewellyn, Bryon Llewellyn, Darby Swart, Megan Llewellyn, Morgan Llewellyn, Robby Llewellyn, and Tyler Llewellyn; three great grandchildren, Alex, Rylee and Bryson Llewellyn; three sisters, Gladys Kearns, Jenny Chutes and Linda (Dave) Powell; two brothers, Pearl Coen and Danny (Cathy) Coen; a special friend, Karen Dollison; and Shawna and Pamela who considered Eva as their grandmother.

Beside her parents she is preceded in death by her husband. Robert L. Llewellyn, Sr.; a sister, Bernice Coen; and seven brothers, Frances, Ralph, Robert, Edward, Leo, Earl and Joe Coen.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday April 18, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Swart officiating.  Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery.  Friends may call Saturday 2:00 p.m. until time of funeral.
