Gary Clyde Whitlatch, Athens, Ohio, died on March 24, 2026, following an extended illness.  He was at the Tuscany Gardens Nursing Home in Pataskala, Ohio at the time of his passing.

Born April 4, 1953, Athens, Ohio, his parents are Robert Clyde and Fern W. Ross Whitlatch.  He attended elementary and high school at Albany, Ohio.  He had worked several years as a Millwright at GE Manufacturing in Logan, Ohio.

Gary is survived by two sons and a grandson, Trey Allan Whitlatch and grandson, Noah of Reynoldsburg and Dar Tristan Whitlatch of Athens; two brothers, Robert R. Whitlatch of Pataskala and Jeffrey Allan Whitlatch of Athens; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Anita Joyce Hanning Whitlatch; his sister and brother-in-law, Judith G. and Ted N. Riffe, Arizona; and two sisters-in-law, Linda L. Dixon Whitlatch and Donna J. Smith Whitlatch.

Gary's burial was coordinated by Jagers and Sons Funeral Home, Athens on April 1, 2026 in the Athens Memory Gardens, on US Rte. 50 between Athens and Albany.  Please share a memory, a note of condolence or sign the online register at ww.jagersfuneralhome.com.
