Hester Lasure, age 83 of Millfield passed away May 1, 2022. Born Dec. 10, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Elsie (Bailey) Antle.

She graduated from Chauncey Dover High School in 1956. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Hester is survived by her daughter, Melinda (Bryan) Tidd of Newport, Ohio; two sons: Charles (Pamela) Lasure, Jr. of Newark, Ohio and David (Kathleen) Lasure of Millfield, Ohio; four grandchildren: Michael (Jessica) Walls of Albany, Ohio; Amy (Sean) Stormes of Marysville, Ohio; Dan Lasure of Bowling Green, Kentucky; and Amanda Lasure of Millfield, Ohio; two great grandchildren: Riley Walls of Glouster, Ohio and Regan Martin of Albany, Ohio; her brother, Bob (Martha) Antle of Athens, Ohio; four sisters-in-law: Ida (Glenn) Foughty of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; Thelma Lasure of The Plains, Ohio; JoAnn Hardy of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Martha Walraven of Renoldsburg, Ohio.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Richard Lasure Sr.: a brother, Jack Antle; and a sister, Georgia Holman.

A private service was held at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, officiated by Tom Antle. Burial followed in Concord Cemetery, Ames Township.
