Jack L. Fulton, Sr., 74, of Athens passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at his residence. Born January 14, 1952 in Athens, he was the son of the late Hubert “Buck” Fulton and Katherine Brown Fulton.

A graduate of Athens High School, he was employed at the Pepsi Bottling Company in Athens for 40+ years. He enjoyed camping and a “Good Deal”. He was known for wheeling and dealing cars, lawn mowers, and golf carts from the front yard of his home.

Jack is survived by his children, Jack (Sharon) Fulton of Albany, Art (Traci Fulton-Black) Fulton of Albany, Bill (Diane) Fulton of Glouster and Tracey (Travis) Sorrell of Millfield; grandchildren- Kahla, Jarrod, Kara, Jena, Shawn, Ashley, Brittany, Tyler, Dustin, Gary, Christian, David, Trevor and Tiffany; several great grandchildren; a brother, John Weyersmiller of Middleport; a special friend, Cheryl Dearth of Athens; and many other family members he dearly loved.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Sandra Kay McKibben Fulton, who passed away October 22, 2020; a grandson, Garrett Winchell Fulton; and two sisters, Celia Lynn Fulton and Kathy Balharmer.

A funeral service will be conducted Monday, July 27, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens. Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield.
