Jackie Rudolph Keirns, age 83, of Athens, died Thursday morning, Aug. 11, 2022 at OhioHealth O'Bleness Hospital, Athens.  Born Sept. 16, 1938 in Athens, he was the son of the late Martin Keirns and Ruth Virginia Balch Keirns.

A 1957 graduate of Shade High School, he was employed at Vanadium Tool Company, Athens Lock & Key and Carole Lee Donuts.  He enjoyed fishing and camping.

Jack is survived by two sons, Rocky Keirns of Guysville and David (Tracy) Keirns of Athens; two grandchildren, Nicole (J.R.) Crum of Coolville and Sarah Keirns of Guysville; two great grandchildren, Aubrey & Harmony Crum; also surviving are several sisters in law, a brother in law, nieces and nephews.

Beside his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Helen Ann Roush Keirns; and two brothers, Leonard Keirns and Louis Wayne Keirns.
