James D. Graber, age 62, Athens died Friday Oct. 27, 2023 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.  Born Apr. 14, 1961 in Holden, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Harvey Graber and Ruby Wiles Graber.

He was a graduate of Alexander High School.  He was employed in area construction work.

James is survived by two daughters, April and Taylor; a son, James; a sister, Bonnie DuBoe of Commercial Point; four brothers, Harvey Graber of Columbus, Steve Graber of Baltimore, Gary Graber of Columbus and Larry Graber of Athens; a sister in law, Wendy Graber of Athens; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by three sisters, Barbara Slone, Betty Osborne and Shelby Sheridan; three brothers, Harry Graber, Joe Graber and Samuel Graber.

The funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens with Rev.
