James Thomas Huffman, 93, of Guysville, died Sunday morning, September 6, 2026 at his home. Born October 20, 1932 in Cave City, KY, he was the son of the late Clarence James Huffman and Mary Ellen Ferguson Huffman.

He retired from Goodyear Tire Company in Akron as a tire builder. He was a sportsman and enjoyed his fishing trips to Canada with his good friend, Henry Morrow of Amesville.

James is survived by two daughters, Debbie Summers and Linda (Gary) Reyna; a son, James “Tom” Huffman, Jr.; seven grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Nina Jane Beason Huffman, who passed away August 8, 2020; a son, Daniel Albert Huffman; a grandson, Morris James Thomas; a son in law, James Summers; and a brother, Ronald Ellis Huffman.
