Jane Marie Cox, age 72, of The Plains died Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at The Laurels of Athens.  Born September 26, 1952 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late James Albert Knight and Ila Marie Katzembach Knight.

She attended The Plains High School and was employed at The Plains Laundromat.  She enjoyed her family and watching TV.

Jane is survived by her daughter, Dorothy (Jon) Roemer of Little Hocking; two grandchildren, Scott Alan Domsher II of Millfield and Nicholas Shane (Kaitlin) Domsher of Chauncey; two great grandchildren, Bryson Liam Domsher and Braelyn Leanne Domsher; two sisters, Judy Croucher of The Plains and Carol Knight of The Plains; a special cousin, Debbie Stotts of The Plains; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by the father of her child, Larry A.
