Norma "Jean" Tedrick, age 87, of The Plains died early Tuesday morning, July 17, 2018 at The Lindley Inn, The Plains. Born April 1, 1931 in Trimble, she was the daughter of the late Tinker M. Hamilton & Lena Emma Mallett Hamilton.

She was a 1949 graduate of Athens High School.  Jean retired from McBee's Corporation as a benefit administrator after many years of service.

Jean is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and many special friends.

Beside her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack H. Tedrick; two sisters, Dorothy Hamilton and Ethel Marie McCort; three brothers, Tinker M. Hamilton, Jr., Paul J. Hamilton and Gordon "Aaron" Hamilton.  At Jean request, there will be no local service.  Burial will be in Hamilton-Mawk Cemetery near Vanceburg, Kentucky on Tuesday, July 24 ^th at 2:00 p.m.  Arrangements are with Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens.  Please share a memory, a note of condolence or sign the online register book at www.jagersfuneralhome.com.
