Karen Beth Glasser, age 69, of Athens, died Saturday evening, July 10, 2021 at Hickory Creek Nursing Center, The Plains.  Born May 18, 1952 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Dale Windland and Beulah Foreman Windland.

She attended Athens High School and had been employed as a home health care aide with Appalachian Community Visiting Nurses Association, as an EMT with SEOMS and as a Special Deputy with the Athens County Sheriff's Office.  She enjoyed flower gardening, trees, her fish pond and landscaping.

Karen is survived by a daughter, Dawn (Scott) Kish of Millfield; five sons, Dan (Sandy) Brown of Millfield, David (Jamie) Brown of Goshen, IN, Michael (Sara) Doyle of Wakeman, Derrick (Jenny) Doyle of Thompson and Terrence Glasser of Athens; seventeen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister, Janet (Dave) Lonas of Albany; and a brother, Ron (Sherry) Windland of Albany; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens with Rev.
