Theron "Kent" Phillips passed away peacefully at his home March 23 2026 surrounded by his loving wife of twenty years and his loving pets, 2 dogs and 8 cats.

Kent served with distinction in the United Nations. During his career he rose thru the Ranks and retired as Lieutenant Colonel (LTC).

Kent has had a love for ham radios since he was sixteen years old. This assisted him with his work with the United Nations, which he won many awards.

Kent was a very loving husband and father.

Survived by his wife Lorraine, his daughter Kendra Gettles (James) and his granddaughter Quinn.  He is also survived by his Mother Elizabeth Phillips, sister  Kristie Riffle (Ron)and brother Kevin Phillips (Emma).

There will be no calling hours.  There will be Grave Side service March 28, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at New Marshfield Cemetery.  The Cemetery address is: New Marshfield Cemetery, 10146 Township Hwy 264,  New Marshfield, Ohio 45766.
