Lelah C. Smith, 91, formerly of Athens died Sunday July 24,2022 in Florence, South Carolina.

Mrs. Smith was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia on September 15, 1930. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph D. Smith; parents, Ralph and Hazel Cline; and twin sister, Leah Cline Johnson.

Survivors include three sons, Gregory C. (Sharon) Smith of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., Jeffrey S. (Jane) Smith and J.K. (Karen) Smith both of Florence S.C.; six grandchildren, Greg Smith, Jr., Michelle (Gavin) McCulley, Jennifer (Brian) Harvey, John Kent Smith, Christopher (Anna) Smith, and Michael Smith; and great grandchildren, Mila Grayce, Morgan, Addison, Blythe, and Malorie.

Graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, August 2 ^nd at 11:00 AM at Alexander Cemetery, Hebbardsville with Ron Kozma officiating.  Arrangements are with Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens.  Memorial contribution may be made to First United Methodist Church, 2 S.
