Margaret "Margy" Ann Algeo Ervin, age 86 of Galloway passed away, Wednesday Sept. 18, 2019 at her home. Born Apr. 7, 1933 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Edward E. & Naomi Ellen Henney Algeo.

A 1951 graduate of Athens High School, she attended Ohio University.  She was a homemaker in the family home.  She was a member of the Salem Heights United Methodist church and United Methodist Women.

Margy is survived by a daughter, Margene (Bob) Runyon; two sons, Bruce Ervin of Galloway and Dan (Margi) Ervin of Mt. Sterling; one granddaughter, Ashley (Stephen) Max-Dixon of Mt. Sterling; three great grandchildren Ayden, Cece, and Viola; a sister in law, Judy Algeo of Athens; and a brother in law, Robert Miller of Canton.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene "Gene" B. Ervin; a sister, Barbara Miller; and two brothers, David Algeo and C.W. "Bill" Algeo.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens with Mark Ervin officiating.  Burial will be in Alexander Cemetery.  Friends may call Sunday 12 noon until time of service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mount Carmel Hospice, c/o Mount Carmel Foundation, 6150 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213 or the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N.
