Mary Midlam, a long-time German Village resident, passed away on July 29th, 2022, at McNaughtin Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center under the care of Bella Hospice. She was born in Athens, Ohio on Sept. 12, 1933 to Hazel Burchfield.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Darcy (Jeff) Kaplan of Galena and Wende Graves of Delaware; grandchildren Christine Thomas, Joseph Bernthold, Karen, Michael and Halle Kaplan as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 1, 2022 at the Augustine Cemetery in Millfield, Ohio, with niece Summer Moynihan officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph's Indian School ( www.stjo.org ). Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jagers Funeral Home in Athens, Ohio.
