Michael A. Weiser, of Athens, passed unexpectedly on December 1, 2023. He is the son of Wendy Weiser of Athens and Arthur Nelson, Jr. "Bud" Weiser of Butler Township.  He was born Nov. 4, 1961 in Dayton.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Mary Ann Welsh, his son Ben Weiser, Ben's mother Gina Green, his sister Dawn Weiser, his stepmother Connie Weiser and stepdaughters Hannah Baker and Kaitlin Baker.

He was a graduate of Beavercreek High School, University of Cincinnati, and his beloved Ohio University.

Michael was a man of many words. He had a passion for life and never met a stranger.  He previously enjoyed guiding prospective medical students in their research at the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. Later in his life he made a career out of improving people's homes.  He loved all forms of music – vocal, concerts, theater, and performance. He performed in the Stuart's Opera House "The Legends" and was a longtime member of Choral Union at Ohio University.

The words here can't convey his personality, nor his caring and love for his family and friends.
