Molly Sue Boden, 87, of Pomeroy formerly of Athens County, died Friday, August 8, 2025 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster.  Born November 29, 1937 in Athens, she was the daughter of Mary Kathleen Monroe Boden.

She had been employed at Heck's of Athens and in food service in Arkansas and Florida.  She was an animal lover, especially her German Shepherd and her horses.

Molly is survived by her daughter, Natalie Dial of Pomeroy; a granddaughter and her companion Cheska Brown and Bryce Jeffers; two great grandchildren, Mavis Jeffers and Jasper Jeffers.

Graveside service will be held at Pedigo Cemetery, York Township Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Jeremiah Hahn officiating.  Arrangement are with Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, 24 Morris Ave., Athens, OH  45701.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home for expenses.  Please share a memory, a note of condolence or sign the online register at www.jagersfuneralhome.com.
