Dr. Nedra Anne Soltow, 61, Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Lee and Margaret Soltow, of Athens. She was a kind, compassionate, and generous person, who loved gardening and traveling. She was an avid fan and season ticket holder of the Indiana Fever and enjoyed spending time with her friends and troop of loyal dogs.

Nedra attended Athens High School, Ohio University and Wright State University Medical School.

Dr. Soltow had a distinguished 31 year career as a physician with the Veterans Administration and was instrumental in starting a specialty clinic at the VA for care of veterans with HIV infection. She loved instructing new medical students and residents.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society, 7929 N Michigan Road Indianapolis IN 46268. Visitation will be held Friday at Flanner Buchanan-Broad Ripple, 1305 Broad Ripple Ave., Indianapolis, from 5-7pm. A celebration of Nedra's life will be held there on Saturday at 2pm, with visitation one hour prior.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 25 ^th at 2:00 p.m. at West Union St. Cemetery, corner of Shafer and Union Streets, Athens, Ohio with Pastor Lynn Miller officiating. Online condolences may be shared at www.flannerbuchanan.com and www.jagersfuneralhome.com.
