Pearlie M. White, 82, of Albany, died early Wednesday morning, February 5, 2025 at her home with her family.  Born February 14, 1942 in Logan County, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Fred Nelson and Mary Etta White Nelson.

She was employed at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital and the University Mall.  She attended Alexander Presbyterian Church and enjoyed canning, cooking, raising her family and was the "Ultimate Grandma'.

Pearlie is survived by three daughters, Linda Smith of Hanover, PA, Sherry (Todd) Blevins of Columbia, SC, and Angela Mackinnon of Athens; a son, Ralph Fred (Ryan) Gambill, Jr. of Albany; thirteen grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Fred Gambill, Sr., who died in 2020; two sisters, Lura Damron and Glenna Watkins; and a brother, Leland Nelson.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens with Steve Rhinehart officiating.  Burial will be in Athens Memory Gardens.  Friends may call Saturday at 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.  Please share a memory, a note of condolence or sign the online register at www.jagersfuneralhome.com.
