Randy Allen, age 62 of Albany, died Monday morning, Nov. 29, 2021 at OhioHealth O'Bleness Hospital, Athens.  Born Aug. 31, 1959 in Athens, he was the son of the late Robert S. Allen (Former Athens County Sheriff) and Virginia M. Cochran Allen.

A 1977 graduate of Alexander High School, he was an electrician and had been employed with Sun Electric, Texas Eastern Compression Station for 7 years and Columbia Gas Transmission for 30 years. He was a lifelong area resident and enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping and farming.  He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and a member of the Athens County Farm Bureau.

Randy is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mandy McDade Allen; two sons, Kirk (Chrissy) Allen of Albany and Kyle Allen of Pomeroy; two grandsons, Baylor Allen and Ridge Allen; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ron and Loretta McDade of Athens; also surviving are an uncle, aunts, several cousins, and four nephews.

A Celebration of his Life will be held Saturday, Dec. 4 ^th from 3-7 p.m. at the Columbia Township Fire Department, St. Rt. 143, Albany with a potluck dinner.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alexander FFA (In Memory of Randy Allen), 6125 School Road, Albany, OH 45710.  Arrangements are with Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens.  Please Share a memory, a note of condolence or sign the online register at www.jagersfuneralhome.com.
