Ronald Lee Reed, age 60 of Millfield, died Friday morning July 31, 2020 at his home.  Born July 26, 1960 in Athens, he is the son of Thelma Rutter Reed Boyd of Millfield and the late Richard Monroe Reed.

Ron attended Athens High School and was employed at Ridgeway Hatchery in Larue, Ohio for several years.  He also was involved in farm work in that area.  He returned to Millfield in 2012.

Besides his mother, Ron is survived by two sons, Shane Reed of Mt. Victory and Dustin (Ashley) Reed of Columbus; two step sons, Scott (Sue Ann) Hamilton of Jackson and Shawn Hamilton of Indian Lake; his former wife and the mother of his children, Lori Rojas of Mt. Victory; seven grandchildren; a ½ sister, Jessica (Reed) Boggs of Albany; and three brothers, Tim Reed of Millfield, Gregory (Chris) Reed of Kenton and Tony Reed of Lowell.

In addition to his father, Ron is preceded in death by his step father, Harry Boyd; a sister, Sandy Gerding; and a brother, Richard E.
