It is with great sadness we announce that Rosalie Wingett passed away on Friday May 23rd, 2025, at the age of 84.

Rosalie grew up just outside Amesville Ohio alongside her four loving siblings.  Not long after finishing high school Rosalie married Charles Guy Wingett. They were happily married for 47 years before Chuck's passing in 2009.

She became the steady hand and backbone in the family business and most importantly did an amazing job raising their three sons.

Rosalie Wingett is preceded in death by her husband Charles Wingett, her son Todd Wingett, her sister Chris Sams, her brother in law Brent Perry and her parents Cecil and Kathryn Copeland.

Rosalie Wingett is survived by her sons Chad (Jessica) Wingett, Cory (Lisa) Wingett, sister Flora Perry, brothers Don (Norma) Copeland and Jim (Judy) Copeland, brother in law Dan Sams, her six grandchildren Christopher (Katarina Kroutel) Wingett, Connor (Macy) Wingett,  Tyler (Vanessa Wilson) Wingett, Julia Wingett, Ella Wingett, and Luke Wingett (also important to honor her pet cat Calli, who discovered Rosalie 3 years ago and they have been best of friends ever since).

Rosalie lived a full, wonderful life with great memories.

A special thank you to her nieces Angie Carter and Mandy Conrath for all the extra time they spent helping Rosalie over the past couple of years. The family would also like to extend another thank you to the employees of O'Bleness Hospital emergency room and their hospice care team for the absolute wonderful care they provided over Rosalie's last couple days.

The family would like to thank her Tuesday and Thursday evening card club and all her Albany Seniors Club friends, whom she spent many hours enjoying life.  Also, a special thank you to all her friends at the Alexander Presbyterian Church for all your love and support.

Calling hours will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 PM on Sunday, May 25th, at Alexander Presbyterian Church, immediately followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM. Burial will be in Alexander Cemetery.
