Rose Ann Palmer, age 69, of Lancaster formerly of The Plains died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster.  Born Aug. 10, 1951 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Buster Johnson and Margaret Alshire Johnson.

She was a homemaker in the family home.

Rose is survived by a daughter, Gloria Spears; two sons, Tim Palmer and Shawn Palmer, all of Lancaster; five grandchildren; and one great grandchildren.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Sheridan Palmer; and a sister, Mary Byers.  Graveside service will be conducted Thursday, Sept. 24 ^th at 10:00 a.m. at Athens Memory Gardens.  Arrangements are with Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens.
