Tanya Marie Celeste Hawkins, 55, of Athens died Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at OhioHealth O’Bleness Hospital, Athens. Born February 14, 1971 in Athens, she is the daughter of Stephen Lukasik of Pomeroy and Jacqueline Murray Lukasik of Columbus.

She was a graduate of Athens High School and Ohio University, with a bachelor’s degree in interior design. She was employed at Ohio University in the Renovation Department. She was a lifelong area resident and enjoyed photography and crafts.

In addition to her parents she is survived by two sons, Chris Reimer and his fiancé Julia Eccles of Holiday, Florida and Corey Hawkins of Athens; and a brother, Michael Stephen Lukasik of Columbus.
