Twila Mae Cable, age 78, formerly of New Marshfield died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018 at N.E. Baptist Hosp[ital, San Antonio, Texas. Born Dec. 2, 1939 in Athens County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Howard "Windy" Dowler and Maybelle Dodd Dowler.

She had been a resident of Texas since 1999.  She married on the 28 July 1958 to Ronald Eugene Cable Sr., of New Marshfield in the Methodist Church parsonage by Dewayne Saylor.  She was a kind, generous, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was well known for her cooking especially her rolls.

Twila is survived by a son, Ronald Eugene Cable, Jr. of Schertz, Texas; a daughter, Rhonda E. (Randy) Mayberry of Schertz, Texas; grandchildren, Miranda Mayberry and Carson Mayberry; great grandchildren, Quinton Mayberry, Olivia Mayberry, and Ezra Mayberry all of Schertz, Texas & Ronald E. Cable III of Washington.  She is also survived by two sisters, Anita (Chuck) Powell of Shade, and Wendelyn (George) Porlier of Pennsylvania.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by a grandson, Chad Ronald Mayberry; siblings, Dennis Dowler, Edward H. Dowler, Richard Dowler, Howard Dowler, and Loretta Dowler Dinsmoor

Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens with Rev.
