Vickie Lou Gustin, age 78, of Athens, died February 10, 2024 at her home.  Born February 23, 1945 in Findlay, she was the daughter of the late Gordon Eugene Gustin and Nicolena Mary Bowers Gustin.  She was proud of her Italian heritage and was second generation from her immigrant family.  Her father operated Gordon's Pharmacy, near the OSU Campus in Columbus and as a youth, Vickie worked at the Soda Fountain in the drug store.  She was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan, a hard worker, and willing to help others.  She and her twin sister were very upbeat and caring people.

She attended Worthington High School and later received her GED and an Associates Degree.  She was a world traveler with her late husband with his job with the Department of Defense.  She enjoyed family game night, crafts and spending time with her family.  Most of her life she was very hard of hearing, but had the ability to read lips and was great with communication.

Vickie is survived by a daughter, Sherry Mohr; a son, Nick (Kristen) Longtin; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren; a sister, Gloria Jean McCoy; a brother, Gordon R. "Barney" Gustin; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Longtin; a son, Sean Longtin; her twin sister, Mickie Maccabee; a sister, Alda "Joy" Matteson; and a former husband, Estel Sexton.
